The third track of ”Earth” suite.
This ACCEPT's sixth album, DREAM OF TREE (2019) , consists of three suites to make a total concept album of 17 tracks; Earth, Rain and Heaven. It presents various sceneries and unfolds continuously changing landscapes as if to read a full-length novel.
While featuring the themes of the real world problems in lyrics superficially, it refers to a spiritual matter of this present world we belong.

AN ANCIENT VOICE

Never felt like this before
So heavy clouds in the sky
I feel something blocking the sun
filled up to my fingertips
with a fury I’ve never known
Still an ancient voice echoes
in my heart-beat and in my blood

The pains and aches fo this land
Time won’t heal, even time never mends
Now this time after this seventy years
In my blood, it’s flowing
Gotta get up right now against the wall

On that morning,
an ordinary moment
vanished in the haze and in the moans
They got no words to stand for
that hell-like day
The day of fate
Here’s a spirit handed down

Many convective clouds are gathering
an enormous, dreadful system comes up
