The seventh track of ”HEAVEN” suite. The sixteenth in the whole tracks.

This ACCEPT’s sixth album, DREAM OF TREE
(2019) , consists of three suites to make a total concept album of 17 tracks; Earth, Rain and Heaven. It presents various sceneries and unfolds continuously changing landscapes as if to read a full-length novel.
While featuring the themes of the real world problems in lyrics superficially, it refers to a spiritual matter of this present world we belong.

THE PLACE

A sensation lingers on so long
after I wake up
That pale view that I hardly recall
But I’m sure there are a few things so quite right
In this moment

That is the place I’ve known since before
That is the sky fell down before
That is the soil we fell down on before
Standing at the edge of the fault of the time
I’m starting to know
the smell, old and sweet ,of that sky and soil
might not be back anymore

I’ve thought it’s the thing of the past
And the flow of time never let it happen again
But we’re here to stand
We’re losing sight of way
What a glorious day!
We’re breaking down the bridges
we have built all the time
Does it mean it’s what it is supposed to be
though we’ve come here somehow

Heaven is here
This is the place we belong
This is the place we started out from
Now look, we can see the traces of us
We’ve come this far
Such a long way away

Better not find an answer
Rather try not stop asking yourself
Stay open
questioning, raising, voicing
casting doubt upon we have done to this world
